Haggis
Haggis is Scotland’s beloved national dish, a hearty, savoury pudding that’s rich in flavour and tradition. It’s typically made from a blend of meat, oats, and spices, and served with “neeps and tatties” (mashed turnip and potato). Though its ingredients have historic roots, what really makes haggis special is its cultural significance: it’s a symbol of Scottish pride, famously celebrated in Robert Burns’ poetry and enjoyed at gatherings from Burns Night to pub tastings. Whether you’re trying it for the first time or grew up with it, haggis is a warm, comforting taste of Scotland’s culinary heritage.
Comedy by Ross Leslie
After the taster, settle in for our comedy show with renowned Scottish comedian Ross Leslie, as he takes you on a potted, punchy history of Glasgow through wit, storytelling, and sharp observations. Ross is a seasoned Scottish stand-up comedian known for his warm delivery, sharp storytelling, and biographical humour. He’s been performing since 2012 and is a regular on the Scottish comedy circuit, appearing at top venues like The Stand and Monkey Barrel.
